Team Performance

Where the Team Start-Up program establishes a foundation on which team effectiveness can be built, Team Performance develops the key skills required for sustained performance.

Team Performance training helps address a number of key issues that typically emerge once a team has been established. These issues include how to solve problems, how to constructively address disagreements between team members, or how to clarify team member roles. During the course, participants will have opportunities for delivering feedback, reviewing key points of learning, and celebrating success. The tools and resources available in Team Performance are invaluable at helping your team to successfully navigate through these sometimes debilitating issues.

It is recommended that all teams go through the Team Start-Up program before moving on toward Team Performance. This will ensure that the fundamentals are in place. However, both programs may be taught back-to-back in a joint 4-day session.

Like all of our workshops, Team Performance is structured to make the best use of training time through hands-on activities and learning-by-doing. For example, team members don't just learn steps and guidelines for giving and receiving feedback; they participate in actual feedback sessions so that they gain valuable feedback practice.

Specific modules covered in the Team Performance training include:

1. Giving and Receiving Feedback
2. Team Roles and Responsibilities
3. Team Conflict
4. Problem Solving
5. Team Knowledge
